Capcom ha recentemente rivelato il suo report finanziario per il trimestre conclusosi il 31 dicembre 2020, rilevando che le vendite nette sono aumentate del 22,6% su base annua. Anche l’utile operativo è aumentato del 32,2% su base annua. Come notato da Daniel “ZhugeEX” Ahmad su Twitter, le vendite per il remake di Resident Evil 3 sono ora a quota 3,6 milioni di copie vendute.
Questo è un ottimo risultato ma Resident Evil 2 Remake ha raggiunto i 4,7 milioni di unità nello stesso lasso di tempo. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne continua ad andare abbastanza bene, avendo venduto finora 7,2 milioni di unità. Le vendite totali per il gioco base e l’espansione hanno superato i 24 milioni. Monster Hunter Rise, che uscirà a marzo per Switch, sta attualmente registrando una forte domanda.
C’è anche Street Fighter: Duel, un titolo per dispositivi mobile in stile JRPG uscito in Cina lo scorso novembre. Pubblicato da Tencent, le sue prestazioni iniziali sono state buone.

RE3R is now at 3.6m sell in, but is tracking behind RE2R which was at 4.7m in the same timeframe.
Iceborne now at 7.2m. Total sales of MHW + Iceborne are now over 24m.

Outlook through end of the fiscal year includes launch of:
– Monster Hunter Rise (high demand)
– Ghosts n Goblins for SwitchResident Evil Village is scheduled for next fiscal year and will release in May 2021.
